Heartbreaking images of disabled animals due to abuse.

Although they have been rescued and now have loving owners, the sight of many previously abused dogs and cats with permanent injuries still evokes deep sorrow in anyone who sees them.

Despite being injured and having suffered abuse, this cat is fortunate to receive human love and care.

Frankie the cat has only one eye and four ears, but to us, he is always perfect.

Buddy is blind and deaf. After being rescued, he came to live with us. Ten years have passed in the blink of an eye.

“When my beloved cat passed away, I went to the rescue shelter and told the staff that I wanted to adopt the cat that had been there the longest. The rescue worker asked me repeatedly if I was sure about adopting this black cat,” the cat’s owner shared.

“It took me a long time to bond with Bill after he had spent so much time at the rescue shelter,” shared the cat’s owner in the picture.

This cat’s name is Dandy. “Dandy is not perfect. But that doesn’t matter—he is now a part of my family,” the new owner shared.

“I adopted Brutus, a 12-year-old dog, a few months ago. Brutus is lazy, stubborn, grumpy, messy on the bed, and drools a lot. But above all, I still love Brutus dearly.”
